We were looking for 5 months for a lady priest for the wedding of our son. Finally we found Shrutiji. We used her for all our functions including Haldi, Nikasi and the Vedic Wedding. She was fabulous. She made our ceremonies special and meaningful. And her beautiful voice while reciting the Shlokas added a beautiful dimension to our ceremonies.

I wanted a well educated female priest for my wedding. This was really a dream for me as I always believed that women can do everything that men can. In a country, where women are often considered impure, it was really special to have my wedding solemnised by a female priest. She was very patient, understanding and welcoming. There are several bad practises that have become part of our wedding ceremonies (like Kanya Ka Daan, and parents not seeing their daughter's pheras). But shruti jee combined ancient wisdom with modern ideas. My family was also very happy with her. My mother still says that shruti jee really made our wedding the most special

My daughter Aarushi and son in law Sameer,both wanted their wedding ceremony to be performed by a female priest and initially the idea was not very welcomed by the family but when we first met Acharya Shruti ji to discuss about the wedding, we all felt confident and agreed that there could be no better person than her. And without her presence our special wouldn’t have been so special. Our whole family and the guests at the wedding also expressed how much they all enjoyed her presence and how beautifully the wedding ceremony was performed .Her expertise in Sanskrit Shlokas and the way she explained everything to the wedding couple while also keeping the guests involved throughout the ceremony was truly remarkable. The light hearted jokes cracked by her were appreciated by all and made the ceremony full of laughter and happy tears, just the way we all wanted it to be. Acharya Shruti ji is setting new trend in the Indian society by proving that females can achieve anything they desire and performing religious ceremonies is not about gender but what one learns about religion , spirituality and rituals. We look forward to many more happy celebrations with her.

It was my dream to have my daughter’s wedding ceremony by conducted by a lady priest. And when I came to know of Acharya Shruti ji it was as if my dream came true. Not only is she knowledgeable, wise and thoughtful, her in-depth interpretation of the wedding vows is relatable to the younger generation. Her proficiency in Sanskrit, Hindi as well as English means a wide range of people including those from overseas are able to understand and appreciate the ceremony’s content, significance and proceedings. She led a beautiful and serene ceremony for my daughter and son-in-law two years ago. And we all had tears of joy.

Having attended weddings before, I was surprised the wedding rituals were so sexist! I knew then I wanted a priest or priestess for my wedding who was modern in their thinking and could really maintain the sanctity of the Hindu Wedding. Then I came across Shruji Ji, and I knew I had to get wedded by her. Shruti Ji was professional and she made sure all the rituals were equal. She also explained the meaning behind many rituals, including kanyadaan, and all the guests were listening to her attentively. She was very patient throughout the process. For me, the pheras were the most beautiful part of the entire 2 day wedding ceremony. If you're getting a date with Shruti Ji, I would say definitely grab the opportunity!

My experiences with Shruti ji was memorable. It is one thing to have the wedding of your dreams and another thing to have a wedding without compromising basic values held close by the couple. Shruti ji understood what being married meant to my husband and me and curated rituals keeping in mind the integrity of the bride and the groom while maintaining the sanctity of age old vedic ceremony. The way she explained every step of the wedding rituals helped us understand how everyday of being married should look like and encouraged us to becomes better humans. More than anything else, I enjoyed my wedding ceremonies and was completely immersed in them. We need more priestesses like Shruti Ji to make religion more welcoming and aaccessible.Being a female in a make dominated profession she must be facing stiff resistance and competition, but is exemplary in terms of the grace and finess she brings with herself.

Shruti ji and her assistant are very professional in their work. It was very easy to communicate and plan the rituals. It was an amazing and empowering experience to have a female priest perform the rituals. She explained the meaning of the rituals and all my family members had a wonderful experience being a part of it.

Shruti ji conducted our wedding ceremony in December and it was one of the most special moments of my life! The minute we set a date for the wedding, she was the first person that I knew I had to request to get us married. I have always wanted a female priest and it was a dream come true to have be part of our ceremony. She truly understands the essence of what it means to be married in our Hindu dharm, without including any differences or inequalities between the 2 partners, which is what we wanted in our ceremony. Her way of explaining to our guests during the ceremony with each step, her sweet voice and her overall demeanor brought so much peace and sacredness to our special day. All our guests could not stop raving about our ceremony because it was nothing like they’d ever seen before in an Indian wedding! Thank you Shruti ji for being a key part in our wedding! Right from day 1, we wanted a priestess to conduct our daughters wedding .We feel very blessed and fortunate that we contacted Acharya Shrutiji for the same .Shrutiji conducted the ceremonies so beautifully -welcome of our jamai, varmala and then pheras! She is not only knowledgable a bout the Vedas but her fluency and command over both Sanskrit and Hindi makes it an icing on the cake as she explains each ritual and not rush through it for name sake .All the guests were glued to hearing every word of hers inspite of the cold and didn’t leave the pheras even for a minute , a sight very uncommon in marriages where only the immediate family is involved in the ceremony .Her sweet nature with her confident demeanour really shone through every moment .
