Having the Meragi team plan our wedding in India was the best decision we made! Planning a wedding from across the world is not easy but Meragi made sure there was no detail left behind. They were so attentive to every aspect of the planning and execution process. In the end we had a two day wedding in which all of our friends and family had a blast. Since the wedding we’ve heard feedback including “that was the best wedding I’ve ever been to” and “it was epic - felt like a Bollywood wedding”. Even we were able to have a great time since we had Meragi to attend to all the day-of issues that inevitable come up. Because of the time zone differences we had meetings at odd hours for almost a year. The team was always accommodating. Meragi team did a fantastic job at our wedding starting from getting the decor right, and had the right connections for makeup artist, DJ as well as other vendors. The part that we appreciated the most was their presence on the day of the wedding where they managed the entire show really well including making last-minute changes to factor in unforeseen circumstances like rain. We had a wonderful experience working with Niki from Meragi. We planned our wedding from the US and got to Bangalore just a week before our wedding. Niki helped us find a venue, photographer, mehendi artist and we picked Meragi to do the decoration. It was easy to co-ordinate with Niki on Whatsapp and we got on a call whenever necessary. On the day of the event, Niki and team were at the venue early and ensured that decor was ready on time. They were present throughout the event, handled all the coordination with vendors (photographer, LED screen provider etc) and made sure we could spend the day mingling with our guests. The decor was loved by us as well as our guests. From welcome board to entrance arch to the backstage decor, everything was in line with what we wanted for the Reception. We discovered them via an Instagram ad, around the time that we were looking for fixed-fee decor vendors for our wedding at the Tamarind Tree, Bangalore. They had an exhibition showcase that we were invited to and we liked the work they had on display there and we booked them on the day to avail a discount. Niki Mukherjee was the main point of contact for us. She shared their portfolio of recents events that they had done to get things started. We provided them with a specific vision along with a moodboard we created. Niki and her team helped create a draft of the decor elements and prices and also helped provide us with multiple options at different price ranges for us to choose from to stick to our budget. Given their extensive experience managing weddings before, Niki was able to provide us some practical guidance around what can and cannot be pulled off at our venue, and ideated with us on alternatives. Also, inspite of the venue being open-air and the event happening in the midst of the monsoon, Niki and team were able to provide the right solutions to mitigate the rain and allow a smooth flow of events for an event of 450+ guests. We also really liked Meragi's decor finalization process, which was fairly modern and loosely like an online shopping experience. Helped us visualize each event's decor along with notes and pictures, and the budget for different decor combinations. We were also provided some 3D mockups for entrace and stage decor. We were also in need of Mehendi artists just a week before the event, which Meragi was able to hook us up with given their contacts. We also booked Niki and team for vendor coordination on the days of the events. We provided them our list of vendors and follow up items and they were able to get back on them prior / during the event. The vendor coordination was really helpful for us since most of our family who were directly involved in the wedding planning were going to be very busy on the day with rituals, guests, etc. Overall, we had a good experience with Meragi working with Niki and team. On the day of the events, the decor truly matched out vision and the elements were better than we'd expected, and the team really took the weight off our shoulders during the event. Just worked with Meragi (Shwetha and Divya) to plan our pre-wedding puja, mehendi, sangeet, and wedding celebration in Bangalore. Though we do not live in India, they planned with us via whatsapp very well. They were very thoughtful, responsive, and attentive to details; they did a wonderful job with both the planning and the decoration. All the decoration for the four events had to be done in a very short timespan which they executed well. Organising a wedding from abroad meant we had so many questions, concerns and apprehensions - all of these were dealt with with extreme professionalism from Rosaline and her team. We must have had 5-6 zoom calls, each lasting a few hours. She, along with Niki were patient, knowledgable and supremely helpful in organising the decor. They were open to suggestions and were keen to give several alternatives for each element. On the days of the celebrations, it rained a lot - which meant last minute decisions needed to be made - Rosaline was always present, took charge and made things happen despite the challenges. My husband (Rishabh) and I got married in November, 2021 and used Meragi Decor services for our wedding decor in The Taj, MG Road, Bangalore. Both Rishabh and I have been living in London but are born and brought up in India. Rishabh is predominately from North India and I’m a hardcore Bangalorean :) We had been dating 8 years when we got married. Given this background, it was very important for both of us to make this wedding a special one - of bringing two cultures together and celebrating our love! Keeping this in mind, I was certain after speaking with Roseline David that she and her team (Meragi Decor) are the right ones to make our vision come true. Having spent a lot of time chatting with Roseline about every minor detail right from the start, I have to say she is an amazing listener, very patient, can handle bridezilla moments very gracefully 🤭 and is extremely professional at the same time! As much as it was important for us to represent both cultures in a beautiful way through decor, we had a limited budget. Roseline helped us navigate through this very well by her practical approach and really good jugaad where needed if I may say so 😉 She suggested great options for all of our 4 events: Haldi, Sangeet, South Indian Wedding and a Marwari wedding! And yes, that’s right, we had two weddings to blend our cultures and people and all of this had to be done in the most seamless way possible in a limited budget. Having said that, Roseline was very realistic about certain aspects of the decor such as lighting to make sure we don’t cut costs in the wrong category. Also, any last minute arrangements (given it was about to rain) or other random issues with fitting in one of the decor items, were all managed without any hassles to the bride and groom on the wedding day!
