As the bride, I am deeply disappointed and distressed with my experience at Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop regarding my main engagement (muddy-tikka) and sangeet outfit. I placed an order for a Seema Gujral outfit in July-August 2024. However, in September, I received the wrong outfit. Despite multiple assurances that the issue would be resolved, the “rectified” outfit delivered in November was even worse than the first. Shockingly, on December 5th, 2024—after a third attempt—the outfit delivered was yet again incorrect. At this point, I just want my money back and wish to never deal with Pernia’s again. This experience has been frustrating beyond words. With the wedding just days away, the store expects me to trust that the correct outfit will be delivered on the day of my event, in a different city—an unacceptable and unnecessarily stressful proposition for any bride. I have requested a refund, but the store refuses, citing the designer as the issue. However, after personally contacting Seema Gujral, I was informed that Pernia’s manages their own dealings. To make matters worse, I purchased another outfit from Seema Gujral directly, and it is absolutely stunning—proving that the fault lies entirely with Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop. The lack of accountability and customer care is shocking and deeply disappointing from a multi-designer brand of this stature. Recently as an NRI client, I bought 5 of my wedding outfits via Pernia’s. I had contacted them through WhatsApp and sent them links of what I wanted to purchase. For some of the outfits they gave me closeup pictures of the outfits from the designer. For two of the outfits close up images were not available though all the outfits turned out beautiful on arrival. I had preordered outfits before visiting India so when I come to India the outfits were ready and all I had to do was a final fitting to check if all was okay. Pernia’s offered several payment methods, from which the one I found most convenient was cash collection from home, regardless of which place in India my relatives resided. They also sent me pictures of the product prior to dispatch. In the online team, at first the whole team was handling my order, but then to avoid confusion Foram took charge and dealt with my order. I must say it was really easy for me to work with her, and she virtually even assisted me to take my body measurements and custom order the outfits. She even ensured me that since I was coming India in a month, the outfits would be ready in time before I travelled back home. Before dispatch Hadrian sent me pictures of the products. I must say all the products had really neat work and were worth the price. Two of my blouses had a minor fitting issue and I wanted to shorten the length of my veil so I immediately contacted the Pernia’s online team and in 24 hours Priti came to understand and resolve my issue over video call. She was going to arrange a pickup of my blouse from home but then since I was in Ahemdabad I offered to drop them off to the store so someone could take fittings physically. At the store Archie Nevada and Triveni Shivani assisted me to take my measurements. They were of great help and they even took a full body measurements to keep in their records for future orders. I informed them of my return date back from India and by when I needed the alterations. Priti, Triveni and Archie made sure I received the outfits after alteration in time. The alterations were all perfect. I am glad I chose Pernia’s for my wedding shopping. An advice to NRI customers is that Pernia’s most of the time, gives your order in the time promised, however always give an earlier date of when you need the order by to be on the safe side. The outfits normally take 2 months to be custom made, always place the order way in advance, incase any alteration will be required. Before ordering make sure you confirm the color of the product, as on the website it could be slightly different due to editing than the real outfit. Also make sure you confirm that they should leave allowance in the blouses for minor loosening and tightening. Designers I worked with and loved were Osaa by Adarsh, Vvani by Vani Vats, Paulmi and Harsh, Abhinav Mishra and Anushree Reddy.

Horrible experience with Pernia pop up online with Arab Crab designer. The product quality is really really bad with respect to the fabric, stitching, fitting, design and customer satisfaction. The product once sold and they don't care less. Even after explaining the issue, no resolution was provided. Never expected this from a store like Pernia pop-up which deals with all designer brands. Beware and order carefully as no customer service is given once the product is sold. Too much policy driven with no sympathy towards customer. I feel trapped with the product and my money in drain.

After my initial order, I did not hear about the product shipping for over a week, however on enquiry, I was given a prompt response by Visakha, that the product needed an additional quality check which caused the delay. When I gave a deadline for my event date, they ensured that the product was shipped in a timely fashion and I received it in time for my event. The anarkali salwar I ordered was true to size and the finish and fit were beautiful! I had ordered the Samaya Jaipur blue organza printed anarkali set. Looks fabulous in person. Although a few weeks ago I bought another outfit but had to cancel my order, Pernia did not refund me for that and it was hard to get a hold of the person assigned to me. TERRIBLE customer service. I ordered an outfit 2 months prior to an event that I had and delayed my order for over a month last year. Tried to cancel my order, which they refused to do so, had to spend another $300 to purchase a last minute outfit from somewhere else cause Pernia could not deliver on time and didn't even bother giving a heads up that my order would be delayed until I asked "WHERE IS MY ORDER." The rep Allan (apparently a manager) told me I could not cancel my order and get a refund and that he would give me a $110 credit for my next order so I took it. The next time I tried to place an order using that credit,I sent a screenshot of Allan giving me that credit, but they refused and told me that it was a mistake. This was Kunal. Allan did not want to speak to me and Kunal stopped responding. They are liars and cause inconveniences. Do not rely on this business for any of your events. Customer service is a skill that none of their reps have. Seems like they just hire anyone.

Worked with Riddhi in getting my gown fixed. She was very helpful through the process and did an excellent job. I gave 5 stars for Riddhi’s service otherwise I would have given the shop 4.5 stars because I paid a lot for the gown and I should not have had to pay for return shipping since it was their mistake.

Ridhi in customer care was very nice, patient, and listened to me to help me find a solution to my problem. Her service is 5 stars. The only reason I'm giving less stars is because I had trouble with how Pernia's measured my custom size dress. I've ordered many dresses from various websites, but I've never had the issues I had here. If you want to custom size your dress, I recommend calling them and having a video call on how to measure vs sending in what you normally send in (esp when it's your first time).

Pernia’s pop Up is a great site to shop. I ordered many outfits for my daughter’s upcoming wedding, all arrived on time and their quality is good. Pernia’s pop up has great costumer service. I was having trouble canceling one of my order, I messaged them and their representative, Jigar Doshi immediately connected and cancel the order and issue store credit. Jigar was very helpful in placing my next order in the correct size. Overall I have great experience shopping on this site.

Great experience overall!!! It was a last minute shopping. I needed an anarkali suit for 24th feb! I saw that Pernia’s customer service was 24/7 and got to chatting on whatsapp for few queries. The whole team involved was very helpful, especially Ritika and Hadrian. guaranteed delivery before 23rd feb! However I received my delivery today on 21st feb, which is even faster than expected.
