Hi Sabyasachi Mukherjee,
Wearing a sabyasachi lehenga on their wedding day is every bride's dream. Just as when the wedding is fixed, the hunt for the perfect lehenga begins (well there are some girls who start that even before finding a groom!!). Sabyasachi Mujherjee is an Indian fashion designer.
Sabyasachi is known for his lehengas and sarees however it also makes sherwanis for the groom along with a whole lot of accessories. Generally a Sabyasachi lehenga costs anywhere between 1-3 lakhs for a lighter lehenga and can go upto 8 lakhs for the heavier ones. It takes close to 3 months for a lehenga to be made and delivered, so it is advisable to order in advance so that sufficient time is available for your wedding dress to be made.

It was love at first sight for my wedding lehenga, I tried it on on a weekend at the very end of my lehenga search and even though I'd never pictured myself as a red-lehenga bride, how I looked and felt in the lehenga brought such a big smile to my face that it changed my mind. It fit my brief on being minimal and comfortable. Once again, the team at the Mehrauli store was extremely helpful and committed to ensuring that the lehenga had the best fit. Despite losing some weight from one I had given the measurements, they promptly altered the outfit. The magic was in the details, from comfortable can-can to altering my blouse 4 times until it fit just perfectly, and ironing my outfit on the morning of my wedding, they graciously went above and beyond and made this my favourite outfit ever.Source

For my wedding outfit I had gone to every designer possible. The first milestone was to chose a color. I honestly wanted to wear a pastel or pink Lehenga for my wedding. But being a winter wedding and in the evening, my family members suggested that a bright color would be better as it would stand out from the crowd. And since my Sagan lehenga was comparatively lighter in color it made more sense to choose a bright and different color for my D-Day. Then I was sure if it has to be a bright colored Lehenga or anything red then there is nothing better than a Red Sabyasachi Bride. The Lehenga I wore was also from the Bridal Heritage collection 2022 which also had recently launched. I really loved the intricacy of the Lehenga along with the Dupatta whose design really stood out. Valery from the Sabyasachi Mehrauli store was the one who assisted me from the start. I was in love with my look when I first tried it at the store and red color really suited me. I was happy to be a Sabyasachi Bride and this memory I will cherish forever.Source

Becoming a Sabyasachi bride was a dream come true, as I adorned myself in an exquisite saree that radiated elegance and grace. The silver grey woven Banarasi satin silk saree enveloped me in its ethereal charm, while the zari work shimmered under the spotlight, beautifully complemented by the emerald jewellery I carefully selected (made by jeweller from Raipur). As I walked down the aisle, the saree exuded a rich spectrum of emotions, capturing the essence of this special moment. While my groom opted for a dashing western suit with a bow or a tie by Ermenogildo Zegna (the most reputed Italian fabric brand), the timeless white saree effortlessly paired with anything, especially black. The photographs captured the magic and the memories, reminding me that this classic Indian garment will forever remain in vogue. And if you're a bride who desires to wear sneakers under the saree, go for it! This day is all about celebrating your individuality and making it truly your own.

Sabyasachi (Wedding) - I wanted to wear the traditional red ever since I envisioned my wedding and Sabyasachi makes the best red bridal lehengas of course. The design I chose really brought out the red colour and I wanted something relatively light on the embroidery. I actually had a virtual shopping experience for my bridal lehenga and it couldn't have been more perfect! The lehenga fitted PERFECTLY and it is an absolute work of art. Source

For Sangeet/Garba I wore Sabyasachi a very vibrant yellow. For wedding I wore Sabyasachi, the moment they launched their 2021 bridal collection and I saw Aditi Rao hydari in a very Beautiful red lehengha at that moment I knew I wanted to wear this for my wedding, I did not try any other outfit for the wedding neither did I see the original one that I wore for my wedding, I just simply placed the order without even seeing the outfit in person because I was so sure of the outfit.
