My wedding was in May 2023 in Jamshedpur and my biggest MISTAKE was to hire Shreya and Vishal to arrange my wedding. I’m located in Bombay and so we wanted someone local to guide us for arrangements since it wasn’t possible for me to keep going to Jamshedpur to overlook the same. Shreya took leverage of that and during presentation showed us stalk photos of the work she had never even done. When questioned about it,she said she would replicate the exact same decor and arrangements.To my horror,when I reached Jamshedpur just 3 days before my wedding, she hadn’t made a single arrangement and kept lying to me that everything is ready for the occasions. During the wedding functions,she provided absolutely cheap looking decor and they were nothing even remotely close to the pictures she had shown us in her presentation.She lied through her teeth every step of the way to me and my family during every single wedding function and she wasn’t even present during any event. The flower arrangement was made in cheap plastic and the cloth provided had dirt and mud all over them. Imagine my stage during every function had cheap materials all over and some random stuff printed on the decor cloth which was covered in mud. She didn’t even provide with music during my mehendi and ran away from the venue giving an excuse that someone from my family had dropped something on operators laptop and then my family had to run to look for a speaker for atleast some music to be played.Imagine not having music for your mehendi which is supposed to be the most fun and intimate experience for a bride. We asked her to arrange for ladies who sing beautiful traditional wedding songs during my haldi ceremony and instead she got someone singing raunchy songs which didn’t go down well with the family and guests. I can go on and on about the blunders she made and top of it she wanted the entire payment before even the wedding started. Thankfully, my father paid her 60 percent before the wedding and rest post the wedding. Since she didn’t provide with anything even remotely standard, my father decided to deduct some money(less than 10 percent) of the negotiation for the absolute disgusting service and harassment caused to everyone in my family. She then blackmailed us that she won’t give my wedding photos and videos and therefore police intervention had to take place for her to finally give us my wedding photos/videos. As a bride, I trusted her with my wedding responsibilities and to say that I was utterly devastated is an understatement. Wedding is a once in a lifetime experience which every bride wants to experience in her own beautiful way and to ruin it the way Shreya did enraged me that I can’t even describe in words. I wanted to write this post long ago but eagerly waited to get my hands on my wedding photos and videos. So please be careful for Shreya and Vishal are extremely unprofessional frauds who don’t know how to plan or arrange weddings and save yourself the embarrassment, emotional and physical harassment and financial distress. I hope any bride to be finds this information helpful.

Our experience with Shivaay Events was absolutely perfect. They could not do enough for us from the moment they took on our wedding. There was absolutely no ask too big or complicated. They always came back to my texts and calls super quick and was always way ahead of me with the planning, I really couldn't of done it without them. As all brides do, I was overthinking everything however they reassured everything would be taken care of and they told me all I needed to worry about was getting there on time 😄. They was not wrong!!! I was absolutely blown away by our reception set up, it was so much more than I expected and it was all down to the detail. When I walked into the Vanue was memorised with how amazing it all looked, all of our planning had come together exactly how they said it would and they didn't miss a beat even down to the way they placed our favours. I cannot thank you guys enough for organising the best day of our lives and for making it so easy for us. I do not know how people do this without a wedding planner and I am not sure why they would want to. The arrangements were just too good.The guests really complimented about the food and the decorations.At such a low budget the function was just good as anyone can imagine...Thus the kids also enjoyed it.

Good Food Catering was such a good decision for our wedding. We had to choose from a list of caterers from our venue and the thing that sold us on this caterer was the cheesy grits, so good! We received compliments from guests during the wedding about how good the food was. They served all our favorite foods and were so accommodating to add in vegetarian dishes for a couple of our guests. The style of food fit our venue perfectly. Delicious food and great to work with - highly recommend!
