We booked 'Sourav's photography' for one prime reason that they were my sister-in-law's wedding photographer too. We exactly got what we wanted, for our dream day, the professionals were well trained ,they followed our briefing. They were really cooperative throughtout the journey whether it was pre-wedding or whether it was the wedding coverage.My wedding took place at a late mahuraat but they were really calm and never fussed or hurried about any ocassion. I would like to share my own experience with you all coz I don't want anybody to suffer like us. Amra pre wedding photoshoot and videoshoot koriyechilam onno ekjon photographer theke. We did it in Oct 2022 and we got the pics on 19th February 2023, after making thousands calls and messages, Asking for the pics. And finally when we got the pics ,most of the pics were horrible in terms of framing, editting, quality everything.My husband and I decided to change the photographer. Let me tell you guys ! It was too late for us to take that decision coz our wedding was on 9th March 2023.We connected Sourav immediately without giving any second thought (just by checking his insta ), and fortunately he took our work coz someone's wedding got postponed and that's why we got the room. Luck af 🤞 But it was the best decision taken in such a short notice!! But I was really very much tensed that how it will go about.. but Sourav assured us about the quality and I can tell you that he is the man of words. Thik jerom expectation chilo serom kaj deliver koreche. Sob dik diye khub valo. He promised to take our couple pics in the reception ,he kept his promise, and the whole team covered all the other events efficiently. Time er dik diye khub punctual and khub efforts dite pare. Photographs were great, in other words 5 on 5 . The album was also mesmerizing. But I will not be albe to say the same for the videography part. Expected much more coverage, many important areas were missed and had wished for atleast a few candid moments. Although video edit was good and the team took efforts in providing a video that was ultimately liked by me and my family.

Our hunt for wedding photographer ended with Sourav's Photography and we are glad it did!! This amazingly talented team covered our pre-wedding, wedding, reception and all the other events in between. The guys were extremely friendly, cooperative and most importantly punctual. We never had to follow up with the team once we communicated the time and venue for each event. My wedding was covered by this team last year. But recently I have come to know that Sourav, the owner of Sourav’s Photography has circulated my wedding photo album(private photo with family) to people without my consent. . It is quite common to share bride/groom/couple photos in social media for the sake of advertisement. But I think wedding album( hardcopy) is something very personal to the bride-groom. No one has the right to share it with anyone apart from the client the photographer works for. . I find it really disturbing and unprofessional from a wedding photographer . It’s a serious security threat to me and my family. . I do not want to recommend this unprofessional photographer to anyone. . I had no issue with his photography and editing skills. But I believe that when someone is working as a freelance photographer, professionalism should be one of the important aspects of his job. In future I hope he will understand that and improve himself.

I had came across many photographers in Kolkata and then looking at Sourav’s portfolio i was impressed and was amazed to see he shares all photos and videos over Facebook and you tube. We went for both side photography and had decided to have pre wedding as well in the package. 1st let me tell you, Sourav himself doesn’t come down for all wedding or reception photography instead not much experienced freelancer hired by him comes down for the event. But ya sourav did come down for our pre wedding photography and he had also suggested us attire and stuffs which was really good. On the day of wedding he had sent enough photographers but on the reception day he sent only 2 of them which wasn’t enough to cover the complete event as our reception hall was quite big. Everything was digestable till here but then the main pain was the follow ups to be done by literally begging for the photos and the videos even after paying such huge amount. Sourav only responds whenever he wants the pending amount otherwise he doesn’t bother replying. The main point to highlight here is : His videographer has lost videos of groom haldi day and he started giving excuse that no photo/video was taken on that particular day and manage by adding motion still photos. Now when the complete payment was done from my side he had even stopped replying when we asked whether he is gonna share photos/videos over social media. There are many photographers out there in Kolkata and everyone shares photographs within a month or 2 but sourav is way too arrogant to even give a deadline. For each photograph, videos, teaser etc we had to beg infront of Sourav and still didn’t even turn back with courtesy. There are few choosen client of sourav who receives the picture even after having the event after ours. I would recommend one to re think many times before hiring sourav as he is humble only over social media and most importantly he is very money minded and only focuses on money over humanity and humbleness.

I've been following Sourav da since I was in first year of my college.. And decided that If I have to book any photographer for my D-day that has be him.. Thank you Sourav da and team for making my non photogenic personality look photogenic😂..They took responsibility of both my Marriage ceremony and the reception..Thank you for all the cooperations..
