I was very picky about my decor choices and the moment I saw Indu's work on her Instagram page, I finalised her. Working with her was a breeze and so comforting. She understood our taste, our preferences, budget and conceptualised everything from scratch. She even revised any of the things we thought were too mainstream and came up with most innovative decor elements of the season.Not just decor, but she also took care of the SFX effects for all her events. Her execution was flawless and I was most relaxed given that Indu herself was present on the venue for 2 days of wedding and did not leave it purely to any of her team members. Would definitely recommend Indu and her team for a dream wedding in Chandigarh and nearby areas.

Totally unprofessional vendor...When they come to meet you first time they act very innocent but in real they are frauds and unprofessional people...It was my wedding and they committed us several things which were not done when it came to the D day...and when u ask them they say ohoo sir hum toh bhool gaye...Even a person who is not into this industry will do better a work then these people...Also they are super slow and lathergic at work...For just a basic and small decoration they take 2 days...They should fear God for cheating on their clients...Shame on you guys... Requesting to all people that Don't hire them, they will ruin your functions...One day Karma will strike them for cheating on their customers and then will sit and cry that we don't have any work in life

Very very disappointed with Indu and her service . Hired her for the wedding and whatever was promised never got delivered. It’s once in a lifetime moment and she ruined it for us. Will never ever recommend to anyone. Worst company to deal with.

It was our most worst decision to hire them. Such a bad expierence it was with Ms. Indu. Very unprofessional . Didnt deliver what was promised. Time management was really bad. Showed some different pictures and delivered something else. The best decision we took in regard to our wedding (apart from choosing each other of course!) was hiring the strings & Knots tor our special day. Everything about them is just amazing - the attention to detail customising each detail as our liking and taste. being always there on time for each function to providing the most promising support we needed! She also did one of my friend’s destination wedding too I noticed her dedication and style of working and keeping everything smooth… so just looked out here and we just found them on wedmegood too. I was really 100% sure from day one that this team will be able to deliver us the wedding of our dreams and it was just liked that. The best thing I liked about Indu since she was taking care of the designing part that she know and matched our frequency so well that she was literally sure about what we wanted. What to bring on the table keeping in mind the executions and timelines for the designs. The team was available 24*7 even the days preceding our actual wedding days. There was no stone left unturned when it came to the beautiful decor they did! The team was very cooperative and were able to handle our mean time small requests. Indu and vikas ji was always available, no matter how many calls you make to them at what hour. Our 2 days of functions went by super smooth all because of the efforts of this amazing team! We are immensely grateful to the Indu and her team our wedding such an enjoyable and effortless affair! Even the guests who attended our wedding were impressed and in awe of their work We would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone and everyone to have them on board so that they can too have the wedding of their dreams

I found Indu on WedMeGood some 8 months before the wedding, and from Day 1 she was like family. I wasn't sure we would go forward with her as she wasn't in the panel of our venue, but we stayed in touch. During this time she helped me a LOT in understanding the venue, it's different locations and how each would look in May, although I had let her know we might go forward with a panel vendor. She helped me visualize the wedding, without ever setting foot on the venue as I was living in the US. Fast-forward less than 3 months before wedding, I visited the venue, talked to the decorators there and they did not match my taste as much as Indu did. Also it was hard to match the seamless communication we had with Indu. So we decided to go forward with her. I was a picky bride and was very invested in the wedding decor process. Indu was a great listener who tried to blend her ideas with mine. She was available on call even after 11pm IST which was a great bonus given the time zone difference between us. We had many long calls, especially as I was trying to incorporate both Bengali and Punjabi cultures in our wedding decor. Come to 2 days before the wedding day, we learn there is a heavy rain forecast on our wedding day. Both our haldi and wedding were supposed to be outdoor events as it never rains in May. We did location shifts multiple times within the last 2 days and Indu's team worked relentlessly all night to make things happen. Lastly, it was raining cats and dogs when it was 2 hours to our wedding and then suddenly the skies cleared up. I was surprised how much decor they were able to create outside in those 2 hours. The varmalas she provided were soo pretty and high quality! She also created an impromptu bidai setup at night, which was quiet surreal. Overall not only did Indu give us stunning decor, she all gave me a lot of peace and calm during the anxiety-inducing wedding planning process. At some point she also became the interface between us and the hotel for minor issues. She also helped my parents chalk all the details out with the hotel when they visited the venue. I would highly recommend people to go forward with Indu!

Had hired Strings & Knots for my engagement as well as Reception in Novotel, Chandigarh. We had two meetings with Mrs. Indu and her husband prior to the functions for the arrangements and most of the thingswent according to the plan. She was open to suggestions to whatever my requests were and added her own experience in it. My most fav thing about the decor was my Mandap setup. It was beautiful. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended decor vendor! Excellent communication & attention to details. The team at Strongs & Knots provided an excellent experiences. Pros of working with them: 1) highly responsive from the beginning, clear and prompt communication from Indu herself, 2) Professional decks with visual samples to facilitate ideation and collaboration, 3) Engaged the couple and parents in the ideation process to ensure we were all aligned with deliverables, 4) Was onsite during all functions to ensure decor was set correctly and to our satisfaction. Extras: I am Mexican marrying into a Indian family and Indu took my vision of a Mexican-inspired Mehendi function and delivered it to perfection while working hand-in-hand with me to ensure we could have the right Mexican accents to the decor. Strings & Knots are worth their weight in gold for easy breezy decor planning and execution. I do recommend working with them 3-4 months in advance as Indu and her team try to manage everything professionally but they do need time to orchestrate their amazing work.

My parents met Indu and Vikas Punj when they visited Holiday Inn Panchkula to finalise it as my wedding venue and thats when we knew that they are the best choice for all the events which were to take place at the same venue. Right from my mehendi to the wedding they made sure they were there to cater to all the requests we had. Althought because of the bad weather the pool side haldi and pheras couldnt take place but they gave their best in order to make sure we had a good experience. All and all I would recommend String and Knots for any of the wedding celebrations!

If there was a negative rating, I would give that to Indu and her strings & knots team. I had made just two requests and she could not even honour them, let alone doing her job well. I have two more weddings lined up in my family (sister & SIL) and at least five among my Tricity friends, was looking forward to giving more business to this team basis the “marvellous promises” they made to me- definitely won’t do that now. My one key request was not to add white roses in my garlands as putting white is considered inauspicious in our family- but noooo, there i come and see WHITE ROSES in our varmaala <slow claps> Is it that hard to find a Garland of red roses in the city, Indu? Shame on you! And the woman has the audacity to ask for full payment from the bride when she is getting dressed and running late for her arrival- you can’t even provide a hard bill and then you want full payment on handover of a slopshoddy so-called décor? May better sense of business and customer centricity prevail over you. I just wish I had gone ahead with the other vendor that was empaneled with my wedding venue and listened to my parents.. attaching pictures of just one of the many things- OVERpromised (in fancy coloured setup) vs UNDERdelivered(in a black &white xerox copy lol)

No doubt, there are many wedding plannes accross chandigarh. but i ended my search here, once i met these guys from Strings & Knots Mr. Vikas Punj and Mrs. Punj. These guys are awesome in their job they simply judge what kind of ambience needs to be created according to location and people. I had my wedding planned by them and they just give life to my home and to my lawn. Very genuine and polite people didnt face any issue with them. They work hard and work with minimum monitoring. My sisters wedding decor and pre-wedding events including cocktail cum engagement and mehandi was done by Indu. The decor was one of the most wonderful facets of all the events and liked by one and all. It was subtle, unique and minimalistic blending very well with the surroundings. The decor included big and small elements including photo booths, hashtag props, different backdrops, the bar set up and a lot of other detailing. We booked this hotel as we knew the hotel manager and also one of my other friends had an intimate party there so we thought of this place for the wedding. Honestly its a very smal and a tiny place but at the smae time it is cute and perfect for an intimate affair. Apart from that the food they have is good and they also have a decorator who does the decor and he did a good job with the decor.
