Varsha had dolled up a couple of my friends and acquaintances for their wedding functions and I also happen to follow her work, I knew she would be the one I go to whenever I get married long before anything was even planned !! It was super easy from the enquiry right up to the finishing touches on the day itself. She is extremely warm and even though I met her for the first time on the day of the event it felt as if we’re old friends. We discussed the makeup looks beforehand, and she was extremely professional and helpful with beautiful ideas from her end not just for the makeup but even for the hairstyle part of it. The end result was beyond perfect, and I’ve gotten so so so many compliments. Would 100/10 recommend her.

What a horrible experience with such a well known makeup artist. Firstly, she charged exorbitant amount of money for the service which wasn't even provided yet. Secondly, absolutely insensitive behaviour on being contacted for genuine reasons. Thirdly, when asked to accomodate the service for a different date she demands even more money. Fourthly, when contacted for negotiation, she outright refused to even consider. I would highly appreciate if you consider other artists for the most important day of your life. Definitely wouldn't recommend her.

True to her name “DRAMEINBAZ”!! She brings the unnecessary DRAMA in your life by harassing you on your life’s most important day! Unethical and insensitive to the core. The most horrible experience one can have with a human being! My wedding was fixed on July 18 and I had booked drameinbaaz@ [Varsha Gidwani] for makeup for 2 of my functions. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my mom passed away in April due to COVID and everything related to my wedding was of course not happening as planned originally. I was extremely broken and cancelled the wedding and all my vendors were kind enough to refund my advances. I thereon reached out to Varsha (to whom I had paid 42.5k advance money) to kindly refund my advance but her manager who handles customer relations didn’t respond for days. I then had to follow up multiple times for the refund of advance of 42.5 K I had paid. I informed her that due to my mom passing away I’m not having the wedding as it was planned and begged her for a refund. She did not refund the money but rather said she can perform the makeup services on a different date. So now that I am having my court marriage on 29th May, I asked her to do my hair and makeup for the same. So in response to my request of the make up date to 29th May, she told me that I had to pay her 22.5K more. I was super confused with this illogical demand for more money when I have already deposited 42.5k with her. Varsha Gidwani explained me that advance 42.5K will be split in two functions and then of that one function I have to still pay 22.5K. She refused to consider my apathy and circumstances and refused to adjust my advance money. Moreover, she brings up new clauses everytime I’ve spoken to her regarding the refund. It almost feels like she is determined to keep this money without doing any work. To be fair, if it was any other reason, I’d understand someone being this unprofessional but my situation was not in my control anyway. I never anticipated this to happen to my mom. The only excuse to behave this way is she keeps saying we have “non-transferable and non refundable policy”, but not once during the entire billing process was this mentioned to me. Neither does her bill state that in the terms and conditions. I have a history of all my chats with her and her extremely inhuman behavior. I have had mental breakdowns over the last few weeks already because of my wedding cancellations, my mom's passing away so suddenly and this inconsiderate behavior. So if you want a make up artist, you may want to still choose her after seeing this review, but if you want to be with a good human on such an important day, I advice you to skip her.
