We had gotten Ms. Mallika's contact information through the business manager of our wedding venue, and we had been working with Ms. Mallika for 3.5 months prior to the date of the ceremony. It has been wonderful working with her to make our special day happen. We like how she was so accessible, so responsive and so personable. She made it a point to respond to our messages and requests very promptly. She had sent us multiple versions of the itemized bill and requested us to only sign off on it if we were completely okay with everything on it. Consequently, she never told her team and external vendors (for flower, decor, musician, brochure design etc.) to move forward until she got our confirmation. A week before the wedding, we had met up to go over the flow of events and the final touches. All the planning really paid off as the wedding and reception venue was really so beautifully decorated and arranged! We loved that and the guests had fun taking many pictures at the venues. We also loved the fact that she was there at the venue in person to supervise the proceedings, and that she was able to honor our late requests (like arranging a wedding cake at the ceremony). Her rates were reasonable as well. Nevertheless, there is some room for improvement: There could have been a little more coordination and communication with the wedding couple to get the wedding ceremony started promptly. But once the ceremony commenced, it was all good. All in all, we highly recommend Ms. Mallika to anyone looking fora wedding/event planner or a one-stop-shop for your wedding/event planning needs!
