Ibbu Makeup

This review is long overdue. Ibbu is an amazing, kind, and down to earth MUA. I found him on Google and fell in love with his work! He made me feel very comfortable while he did my make-up. I felt so beautiful and confident after he finished my make-up. My mother, grandmother, and sister also loved their make-up. There were no mishaps and my make-up lasted all day. In case of issues, he also provided a mini touch-up bag. I would hire him again in the future!

As a bride, wedding planning was a nightmare for me. I was honestly tired of dealing with so many different vendors, but Ibbu was always a breath of fresh air. From the first message I sent, he responded so quickly and professionally, making scheduling myself and my mother and sisters simple. He was very easy to talk to, and let me tell you that on my actual wedding morning, when everyone was driving me crazy, he breezed in with such POSITIVE, FUN, PROFESSIONAL, GREAT energy, he seriously put me at ease and I was able to relax while he did my makeup. I had never gotten my makeup done before, but he answered all my questions clearly and patiently and gave me great advice on what would work with my skin and tones. My bridesmaid sister (who NEVER wears makeup) initially REFUSED to put lashes on, but Ibbu was so great in working with her to find a look that she felt comfortable with, and that made her look FABULOUS, with lashes. My sister loved the way Ibbu did her makeup, and we all felt simply beautiful. I felt and looked like a damn queen. He is clearly very skilled and talented in his work, but also professional in dealing with the chaos of wedding day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you book him for your wedding, she was just great, thank you so much Ibbu and team!

Ibrahim is truly a phenomenal makeup artist. I remembered feeling pretty anxious and nervous prior to the reception, but he kept talking and making fun jokes during the whole process, that I felt so at ease! He was really punctual, and did not rush through the makeup and hairdo, which I really appreciate. Ibbu made my face look fresh, full of glow, but at the same time not heavy or cakey at all. I also love the fact that he is very attentive and does not force a certain style on you, he will make sure that you send some samples of makeup style or hairdo that you prefer, and offer advice on what he thinks would be suitable based on your features. Special thanks to Nandini as well, for assisting and providing and excellent service. Thanks to the both of you for making me feel beautiful and confident on my special day :)

Honestly, I was skeptical about booking makeup artist just looking at the pictures because photos these days can be highly misleading. It can be professionally edited or could be taken with filters or can look either too much or too less makeup. But, Ibbu’s finishing is way better than what it looks like in pictures. Trust me I booked trial and was convinced I want Ibbu for all my wedding events. There’s absolutely no complaints. Loved the base, eyes, lip colour, lashes, overall finishing which was FLAWLESS. I recommend every bride to take a trial and book makeup artist. Ibbu is just amazing. Thank you!

Both Ibbu and Lakshana were so friendly I had Best Experience with them.he took the time to listen attentively to my preferences and concerns, ensuring that he understood exactly what I was looking for.When it came time to begin the makeover, I was blown away by ibbu's expertise and creativity. he demonstrated an incredible mastery of his craft, effortlessly blending colors and textures to enhance my features while still maintaining a natural look. Throughout the process, they both were not only professional but also incredibly personable. Lakshana shared tips and tricks for maintaining the look and made me feel like a valued client every step of the way. his passion for his work was evident, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about making me look and feel beautiful. My experience having Ibbu as my wedding day make up artist is one I will never forget. My dream was always to have Ibbu as my make up artist especially for my big day after I had seen his Makeup at a fashion show years ago. My wedding day happened to be on the hottest date of 2023 which made it out of this world difficult to get Ibbu as my makeup artist (mind you, I contacted them a year prior to my wedding but I guess that's just not fast enough to get these gems as my makeup artist for such a peak date). Honestly, I was heartbroken but I had accepted the fact they were not going to be my makeup artist for my big day. Little did I know, luck was on my side when I managed to get hold of them within a week before my wedding. This was definitely the best thing that could have happened for me that made my special day even more special. They are such an incredible duo with Ibbu working wonders with my makeup and Nandini did a fantastic job with my hair. I trusted them a 100% and I knew they wouldn't go wrong with my look. True enough, when I looked at myself in the mirror after they completed my look I gasped because that was by far the best version of myself I had ever seen and I don't think anything can ever top that. I still keep getting compliments on my look after weeks of my wedding. Thank you guys for such an amazing job ❤ Truly loved having you guys and I honestly feel like the luckiest person to have you as my MUA for my big day 😊

Perfection, Personable & Professional💯 Sorry for the long overdue review Ibbu! Where do I even begin? First of all, thank you so much for making me look spectacular on my wedding day! Received so many compliments and honestly I felt really special 🥰 I have known Ibbu for more than 5 years and of course he is one of those friends that I call family. I have been seeing Ibbu’s work for years and from the day I knew that I was getting married I only wanted to be glammed by Ibbu no matter what happens. Even choosed my wedding date based on their availability. I was supposed to be married in June 2022 and had to postpone it to November due to my exams. When I informed Ibbu the new wedding date, he wasn’t available. I prayed hard and had faith that I will be able to get Ibbu. I’m beyond blessed to have him around on my special day not only as a MUA, but also as my best friend. Just 2 weeks before my wedding, I had to change my wedding venue from Bangalore to Mysore due to family issues. I became even stressed on re-planning everything again. Extremely confused on my look and accessories, Ibbu and Lakshana came in as saviours. I left it to them and I’m totally satisfied with the outcome😍 Knowing Ibbu, our glam session was definitely fun and relaxed. He didn’t rush and was taking his time to make sure everything was perfect. The make up blends perfectly with my skin and had a flawless finish. Loved the hairstyle too.
