I contacted Tina for my wedding hair and makeup. The only thing I told her was to make my look as natural as possible. That is exactly what she did, but in the best way. I opted for air brush makeup, it was very light. Got so many compliments for my look. Made me feel so damn confident. The best part is that the makeup stayed as it is throughout the whole day even after I cried (no smudges at all). I would highly recommend Tina with full confidence.

I contacted Tina for my wedding makeup and I couldn’t have chosen better. I literally had my Princess Diaries” moment after the makeover . I was confused with so many options and artists but Tina patiently explained to me the available options. It’s been a month since my wedding and I still get compliments about the look. I opted for an airbrush makeup and it felt so lightweight which gave it a second skin like feel to it. The makeup and hair was long lasting and it stayed for almost 12 hours ( without smudge). I spoke to Tina for a party make over for my sis in law engagement she said she will be traveling and will be back to Kottyam on the event morning she specified if there is a flight delay she might not be able to make it . Since I’m new to Kottayam I told her my concern that I’m not aware about other make up artist and asked her to confirm if she can make it . She confirmed that she will be available and only if there is a flight delay she might not be able to make it .But from the beginning she never responded to calls or messages and takes a week time to respond . After multiple calls and message a week before the event I sent her a message asking about the hairstyle that would suit my costume and she never responded to my messages nor picked my call. I was in a complete panic situation and she picked my call 2 days before the function and my first word to her was please don’t give me heart attack by not picking my call or responding to messages.if she is busy or if she can’t make it I’m completely fine however she kept me hanging without any response so I was not sure if I have to book an other person or wait for her reply . She finally picked my call one day before the function and said will confirm in 30 mins and again when I tried reaching her after 30 mins ther was no response for calls and messages . I have never seen such unprofessional make up artist . It’s my kind request if you can’t make it or if you are unavailable please let us know right there instead of putting your client in a bad situation thankfully I’m not the bride but still please learn to show some professionalism to your client I have agreed for a 12k party make over . Also attaching screenshots to be more transparent .

My engagement makeup was done by Makeup Artistry Kottayam. Even though I booked for the Airbrush makeup and wanted a professional touch it was ‘just a makeup’ . I got ready by 8 in the morning ,my church functions were over by 12pm and makeup started melting from church itself, people started mentioning about that to me. There were nothing of 30k . She didn’t even cover my neck, she applied makeup only on my face and blouse back side. I believe thats the basic knowledge. I’ve wheatish complexion and you can imagine how it will look in a wheatish skin tone. Whoever doing makeup they have to be responsible and they need tothink clients have lots of expectations on their big day ,if they are spending too much on makeup. Also they should have the responsibility to inform the brides about their pre bridal preps. I’m disappointed and won’t suggest anybody to choose makeup artistry kottayam.

If you’re looking for a professional MUA for your special day, I highly DO NOT recommend Makeup Artistry Kottayam! I paid an advance fee and booked her for my wedding reception and unfortunately since COVID is all over, she had to go in to quarantine days before my big day which was absolutely understandable and acceptable. I was absolutely understanding throughout! However, after cancellation she promised to refund the advance and that was the last I heard of her. No messages from her after that since a month now and NO REPLIES TO MY MESSAGES! How unprofessional of someone who claims to be a “professional artist”. Even during the last month before my wedding when I messaged her to discuss the make up and hairstyle, she would respond one week later and didn’t really care to discuss with her client! Absolutely horrendous service and a nightmare for any bride. I dealt with 4 other well renowned and much established MUAs than her for my other wedding functions and trust me when I say this, EACH ONE of them communicated so well with a lot of respect and courtesy throughout. I’m so grateful to God for not having to deal with such an unprofessional MUA on my big day! Also, please note I’ve still not received my refund back nor even a reply to my messages even after a whole month! DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ARTIST IF YOU WANT A GREAT SERVICE INCLUDING RESPECT AND GOOD COMMUNICATION. Absolutely POOR service!

She herself asked me to share my own experience with her team on wedmegood as well . So yeah , to begin with . Her customer service is on point . The team posted a picture saying makeup under 10 k and the team agreed to do my bridal makeup for 8 k and I paid an advance amount as well . But then, due to the current covid situations I have had to postpone my wedding a many times and I informed her about it too . And once , the date got fixed all over again , I called the team and informed about the date and suddenly the team changed the entire package and asked us to pay 12 k plus taxi fare . Did you feel lack of professional ethics here ?! Well , I did . So I told her , I'm cancelling my makeup since they are not ready to do my makeup on the already fixed and advance paid amount . Then the team called us back and once again agreed to do my makeup for 8 k . And then when it came to the trial date , she didn't pick up the call and didn't reply to any of my messages , even tho she saw all my messages. And when she picked up the phone , she immediately hung up saying no range and didn't show any common courtesy to call me back or text me . And next day, she called me and told that she won't be there for the trial for the following dates except on 26 th of sep , that is the day before my engagement (27, sep ) and expect me to travel 55 km back and forth on the previous day of my engagement . Therefore , I had to cancel her , because of trust issues . I found it very difficult to find another slot for my makeup just four prior to my engagement . And now she refused to refund the advance amount , so I wrote a Google review of my honest experience and now she is only willing to refund my amount only if I remove my honest review . And she also taunted me to write a review on wedmegood . So here it is ! Hope someone could find this useful
