I want to share my experience to help others decide wisely. I trusted Meragi with the decor for my wedding, but it turned out to be a big mistake. Dealing with Meragi was tough because they weren't very professional. During the planning phase, Meragi was often late and didn't pay attention to details. They hardly replied to our messages, and when they did, they always had excuses for not finishing their tasks on time. One big problem was when they suddenly changed the backdrop color without thinking about how it would affect everything else. This made the backdrop color not match what we wanted. Also, on the first day of the wedding, there were issues with the lights near the backdrop. We told Meragi about it, but they didn't fix it, so we had to work around unlit lights during important moments like taking photos and sangeet. We were surprised and disappointed that there was no one from Meragi's team at the venue to make sure everything was working well, especially since decorating is their main job. On the second day, they set up the mandap in the wrong color, which was frustrating because we spent a lot of time choosing the right colors. Instead of taking responsibility, Meragi blamed us, which made us question their honesty and professionalism. We also hired event coordinators through Meragi, but they were not informed & prepared, and we ended up doing a lot of the work ourselves, which was frustrating and felt like a waste of money. Meragi collected 100% payment upfront, but the quality of their work didn't even meet our minimum expectations. Looking back, I wish we had chosen a different vendor who could have done a better job for the same price. Even after all the problems, Meragi asked us to give them a 5-star rating, which showed they didn't understand how unhappy we were. In summary, based on my experience, I strongly advise against hiring Meragi for any future events. They didn't meet professional standards and didn't keep their promises, which made our wedding experience very disappointing.

Horrible experience for my brothers wedding. We had hired Meragi 5 months in advance and discussed everything in detail with their SO called designer Nikitha. During booking they gave a lot of confidence but they ruined our event. The person who we were in contact with (Nikitha) did not even show up during the event, some random people came who had idea on what was discussed. Our event was delayed by 1hour because of them; our guests had arrived and they were not ready with the handover. It was extremely embarrassing. Even after all this, they did not deliver what was committed. Many items were missing from the decor, the decor was flimsy and was falling down (our guests had to hold it from falling through the event). More so the light stand fell on one of our guests when they were removing the lights getting them hurt. Horrible experience., please please don’t fall for their words. We paid a huge amount and it was not at all worth it. There are much better designers and decorators in Hyderabad.

One of the worst planners in town, they don’t deserve to call themselves event planners/managers. The work was so shabby, looked like a toddlers work of art. Even the worst local tent house would have a done a way better job. Please don’t fall into their trap and make advance payments. They made my special day a very stressful and painful day. We booked Meragi for our wedding decor but unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with their services. We had entrusted Meragi with every décor aspect of the wedding, we had multiple rounds of discussions and planned every detail out. While they initially seemed attentive and professional, there were several issues that arose on the day of the wedding. It was disheartening to see Meragi not delivering what we had discussed on our special day. The colour of the fabric was completely different than what we’d initially finalized and the neon sign that we opted for didn’t even work properly. Additionally, the unique brass bells that were promised were not even a part of the muhurtam décor, which detracted from the overall aesthetic of the wedding. Overall, we were very disappointed with the quality of the decorations and felt that they did not live up to our expectations. In spite of telling the team repeatedly about how important the coordination was to us, they made absolutely no efforts. Aishwarya despite calling me incessantly to make the payments on time, had no courtesy to even inform me about the fact that certain elements couldn’t be arranged for despite taking the entire amount from us. I would caution others to double-check all details and ensure that everything is to their satisfaction before finalizing any contracts.

Niki and her team did a lovely job with bringing our vision to reality, for 3 events. we barely had a month to the wedding when we were speaking to Meragi, however the team was very well organised and ensured everything was in place and in time for the wedding, there were no last minute surprises for us and the team was very cooperative with any minor changes/adjustments/add ons that we requested towards the end.the team was also very cooperative with valuing the budget we set aside for decor, and advised what would work best within our budget. I would like to re-iterate their level of professionalism and the fact that everything went on very smooth on the wedding days itself. and of course, lastly they definitely had an eye for style that was minimalistic, yet classy, just how we'd like it :) well done Niki , Mehak, Aayesha, Ramya , Aftab and Prem !

We had different themes for each of the functions and wanted no overlap in decor. That said, we didn't want to go overboard on the decor expense. The team at Meragi was absolutely amazing before I finalised my package with them. But during my entire conversation with them I could sense some rigidity. Decor work like these requires some flexibility. Secondly I was informed before finalising my package that two of the designers would come to execute the work properly on site. But only one of the them appeared on the day of the function. There was absolutely no finishing in the work. It felt like the work was done in a hurry. And the one junior designer who came was also in a hurry. She had to deny correcting a few things because the labour had already gone by the time I reached to inspect the venue. Labour went, she was in a hurry so I was left with no other option but to accept the way the work was done. Overall me and my family felt that this was definitely not value for money. They charge you huge but what you get is definitely not worth it.

Rohit and I live in Australia and came back to India after 5 years to get married. Dania, our wedding decorator helped us plan our Sangeet and Wedding. She was patient and professional through all the hiccups considering the limited time we had to discuss the requirements. Only feedback would be to clearly emphasize Meragi's role during the initial contract signing and have what's discussed to be written down (minutes of meeting) so we don't go back and forth. We were unsure if they were wedding planners or just decorators. We assumed that they were planners but they were just helping out with the planning. However, I now know that they actually have the service of event planning which I wasn't aware of, at that time. Moving past all that, the team, the decorations and the payment process were all on point. We truly appreciate all the efforts put into our event to make it successful. My husband and I worked with Shreya Nattay from Meragi for our wedding decor. I want to start off by saying that any bride who gets to work with Shreya is just plain lucky. She is so talented and so smart and I just know she’s going to be very successful in her career! I had a very short first conversation with her and she said she’d make me a presentation of ideas based on what I wanted. I was quite sure that I wouldn’t see anything I liked because our conversation was so brief and I didn’t want a very conventional Indian decor look, but Shreya really impressed me. She captured perfectly exactly the look I was going for and it was almost like she could read my mind! We were also planning our wedding in Bangalore while living abroad and she made herself available at all sorts of odd hours to call us after we were done with work. She was so patient and when two weeks before the wedding we were walking around the venue not able to agree on the layout, Shreya understood exactly what both my husband and I wanted and came up with a plan that satisfied us both. On the wedding day, so many people came up to me and said the place looked ‘magical’ and ‘like a fairytale’, and that is all credit to her. I remember my first conversation with Ayesha and then the million conversation we had after till the last minute like my family she was there. We had a good time working with Nidhi from Meragi Events for our wedding ceremony and reception. She was very friendly, easy to talk to, and was very accessible over phone call and texts. We showed her what we wanted for our morning wedding decor to look like, and she was able to execute the same with modifications as per our taste (however, there was one miss I can recall, the bows on the Tiffany chairs were forgotten). During the evening outdoor reception, unfortunately due to the unpredictable Bangalore rain in December, we had to move the event indoors. She was able to quickly setup the indoor decor and did the best with all the indoor arrangements. However, a lot of the furniture (round tables and chairs) were still stacked and left outside haphazardly, which clashed with the outdoor light decor. I wish we could have discussed a more detailed contingency plan in the case of rain, which I felt was missing during our event, and this led to some not so sightly furniture and equipment (ladders, chords) lying around. But all in all, barring these hiccups, the positives outweigh the negatives, and all the events were a success and we enjoyed Nidhi's company.

Aishwarya who was our SPOC person is one of the sweetest lady i have ever met. Her patience will make you calm even in the stressful time. The best part about the whole process was team dedicated time on video call, in-person visits multiple times to ensure the client (us) are through with everything. The format they use for structuring everything is very transparent and user friendly. I understand easily where all the costs were going. On the day of, there was rain during some the events and the Meragi team quickly moved around the decor and came up with creative solutions to make it work. We could customize the package whenever we liked and Sejal was so approachable throughout. I especially liked the fact that as the client, the decorations were sent to me to be approved prior to our wedding so I knew exactly what I was getting. The only improvement area would be that a member of the design/ planning team needs to be on location during the event so the client does not have to check if all arrangements are done. In our case only the logistics team was there implementing the job, but no representation from the design/ planning team. Apart from the above, everything else has been great and we definitely appreciate the effort of team Meragi. Special thanks to Sejal who was very supportive and made us feel comfortable throughout the planning and prep process.

I came across Merargi on Instagram and contacted, then visited there live event, I can only appreciate their flexibility for everything I wanted and make my engagement celebration a grand success, I have recieved ample compliments from people about how asthetic the decor was. The initial response from Meragi was the most encouraging and timely. After understanding our requirements, they sent their quotation within no time. We went to them probably 1 week before the engagement day and asked them to do our house decor as well as the decor at the venue. They handled everything so professionally. Nidhi was very communicative till the end. Only con is all their decor items are priced the same regardless whether one looks better than the other. So maybe that could be changed. I got in touch with Mr.Suhail 2 days before the event, he coordinated everything from location and helped me with some great venue suggestions with best deal and even secured a permit from hotel for our privacy during the proposal, which made the surprise even better! Payal and Jitin who designed, planned, and executed my wedding reception in Bangalore did a spectacular job. On an interesting note ,my sister found them on Instagram just two weeks before my reception and I couldn’t be more grateful to the team for the way the end product looked. We were panicking about not having a decorator as the one we had chosen earlier turned out to be unprofessional and flaked out last minute. Meragi stepped in during these vulnerable and tense times and hand held us through the entire process. Starting of with a face to face interaction at the venue with Payal and Jitin I was convinced instantly that this was decor company and this was the team I wanted for my special day. Through our interaction I realized that they were extremely reliable professional and most importantly they considered my event as if it was their own and came up suggestions that would elevate the look even more. I could see their passion and immediately all my doubts and apprehensions were dispelled. As payal and Jitin were explaining the nuances of the designs and execution to me they also quoted the prices upfront for each of the decor elements that would be used. This modular approach where they have the prices of everything in their catalogue is a very transparent method and it instills faith in the clients and makes them trust the team wholeheartedly. I loved this approach of theirs.Moreover they vouched that there would be no change to the quote due to sudden or unexpected fluctuations in flower prices . Another interesting USP of theirs is that they create a virtual 3d image of the end design after initial discussions to help clients visualize the end product. This is simply superb and no client will event be taken aback. Although I must say how it looks in reality will exceed your expectations ! They are just too good !!! After this initial interaction everything went smoothly, Payal and Jitin directly interacted with my event coordinator at the venue and handled everything on their own. Finally on the d day , it was the moment of truth and I had tears in my eyes and was so overwhelmed by how beautifully and spectacularly the whole thing was executed. I even noticed that Payal and Jitin had added some extra elements such as the alley decor without charging me anything. I was truly mind blown and felt ever grateful for all their efforts. This first thing I told them when I saw it as I walked towards the stage was that they will be the only team I will approach henceforth for all our family functions.

Hi, My husband and I had booked Meragi for our wedding. We were quite impressed with the variety of designs, enthusiasm to get us on board and to fasten up the finalising process of designs. Very grateful to Aishwarya from Meragi for making note of every detail that we wanted. Unfortunately, Meragi only is good at making notes of the details and not delivering them. The decor that we had discussed and paid for v/s what was delivered was poles apart. It was disheartening to see Meragi cheating on us and not delivering even 30% of what we had discussed on our special day. They boast about using antique brass bells on their website and IG page but what they used at my wedding were golden plastic Christmas bells that you get in any local market. Not just that, we were extremely clear about the timelines of the event, despite that they couldn’t set up the decor for each event on time. There was excessive delay to an extent where it came to even guests notice. It is not a good feeling, As a bride, when you see your guests complaining about decor not being set up yet. They had even missed whole elements out of the wedding and also charged us for the same. Aishwarya despite calling me incessantly to make the payments on time, had no courtesy to even inform me about the fact that certain elements couldn’t be arranged for despite taking the entire amount from us. Post wedding, when my husband was following up with them to get a justification for the horrible service, there was no response for the longest time and finally they responded with an unmeaningful “Sorry”. I believe in constructive criticism but here unfortunately I would need to be harsh with my feedback because we feel betrayed and looted. If you are thinking of going with Meragi, pls think twice!

We stumbled upon Meragi through instagram while looking for an event decorater for a intimate wedding. We were put in touch with Gunjan who worked with us tirelessly to understand our vision for the event and tie it back with decor options that would fit the requirements (as well as the budget) She provided us with a proposal that had several design options for each decor component like the mandap, entry signage, seating etc. We were then introduced to the design manager, Dania who along with Gunjan visited the event location several days ahead of the event to plan better.
