Our venue was Mangalam Reception Hall and the way they arranged everything, it really was the talk of the event. The food was too good, from starters to main course but I want to take a moment to appreciate the live counters. Each and every food from the counters was really good. So we needed someone to cater both the tastes which are very different and considering the starting day of Navratri we did not want even onion and garlic in Veg items. Aranyak booked a separate Maharaj for Veg and segregated all items including plates. The quality and taste of all items was top-notch, service was very professional unlike what we see in most of Kolkata and the icing on the cake was the decoration & cleanliness maintained throughout till the end. We booked Sweet-N-Sour for my wedding at Orchid Garden and Banquets on 13th December, 2021. We were pretty impressed when they called us for food tasting at another marriage a couple of months before that and decided to go ahead with them for my big day. However we were not impressed with the results in the end. While we had done a booking for 410 people and the total number of guests did not even turn up they could not provide food for all the guests. The Chinese counter got over much in advance and even the groom’s side could not eat from there. The mutton biriyani hardly had any mutton pieces and even the dessert quality was not impressive. Note that they take the entire amount as advance before the day of the event. When my father called to give the director Mr. Tarun his feedback he said he will get back soon and never did. Really disappointed by such a service quality from a catering that charges handsomely per plate. My. Tarun did not bother to visit our event even once despite him being in Ashirbaad banquet right next to us. Would we book them again for our future event? Probably not.
