Taniya was an absolutely amazing choreographer for our Sangeet. She was able to adapt the steps to all different levels of ability and still make them look good. She was constantly encouraging and helped us perfect the dances. She was so friendly and warm, and really went above and beyond with helping our whole group learn and practice the finale dance the day before the Sangeet, and choreographing an entry dance for us as well. She consistently went the extra mile and showed a lot of genuine enjoyment and enthusiasm throughout the process, which made it even more fun for us. She was very organised and clear, and was amenable to all of our song suggestions, coming up with some really lovely yet easy steps which looked great on the night. Her video tutorials were extremely clear and helpful, and her Zoom sessions as well. Taniya was fantastic from start to finish. Our wedding was international which brought its challenges - we couldn’t all be around to practice in person until very close to the wedding, so she prepared helpful guide videos to each routine and organised Zoom calls across multiple timezones. For foreign guests we requested a change to the steps to make them simpler. None of this was a problem at all, everything was done quickly and smoothly. The dances themselves were perfect, and the videos were easy to digest even for those of us who have never done Bollywood dancing before. Taniya’s coaching catered to a mix of ability levels really well. The strong performers got good details and flourishes whereas those lagging behind were brought up to speed on the basics. Taniya’s handling of large groups of people particularly impressed me. She managed to corral the large group taking part in the flash mob into rehearsing together the night before the Sangeet. The Sangeet was truly magical, one of the best days in our lives and the dances with Taniya’s awesome choreography were the main event. I (a foreigner who had never danced on a stage before) was getting compliments all night and the following days about my dances.

Had an incredible sangeet - all credit to Tanya’s choreography, and get this - our preparation, practice and final event was IN THE SAME WEEK AS TANYA’s OWN WEDDING! Extra props to her dedication and time management! Although we reached out to her only a couple of days before her own wedding, she helped us plan through our practice sessions despite her busy schedule. Our initial request was to help us with a 5-song choreography for just the bride and groom, but it soon snowballed into 5-6 groups that needed help with their choreography. She drove to our venue and patiently waited for the groups to arrive despite significant delay from our end. She added on an extra day of practice sessions in the last minute. Long story short, we got on top of Sangeet choreography really late into our wedding prep, but Tanya helped us navigate the timeline seamlessly! We approached Taniya 3 weeks before our wedding with the condition that we will be able to practice only during weekends because of work commitments . In the first week itself, inspite of us being a total non dancer she made sure we fell in love with the dancing . Thats the best part of learning from Taniya. You will never feel like a non dancer. We wanted a mix of Indian traditional moves and contemporary dancing which she gracefully incorporated in all our choreography. There wasn't a challenge that Taniya couldn't handle: short notice, long distance, novice dance experience, etc. Taniya was flexible, patient, encouraging, an overall excellent teacher, and simply a pleasure to work with. Through only a few Zoom/in-person sessions and some video recordings, we pulled together a killer, unforgettable siblings dance. Could not recommend Taniya enough!

Taniya was a choreographer for my friends kids Sangeet. I met her during practices. She is very down to earth, humble at the same time very bubbly and energetic with a lot of patience. She is an amazing teacher and does not get tired of showing the steps again and again. She makes you feel comfortable and brings the best out of you. We all had a great time working with her. We approached Taniya with not so ordinary request (that of choreographic a flash Mob) which was a surprise for my wife on the day of our wedding. Although I did not have any doubts about her capability given i had already heard how talented she was, but i did not expect the output to be so brilliant. We had Taniya as our choreographer for our sangeet this May and she was an absolute delight to work with. She walked me and my husband step by step through the choreography and made it easy for my husband to learn as he was a beginner. Her bubbly and fun personality made classes so exciting and easy. She also taught an all ladies group and mens/ boys group for our sangeet and she was a pleasure to work with. We had chosen taniya as our choreographer for our wedding dance. She helped right from day 1 in picking the songs. Most importantly she made sure we were comfortable in the steps. With the pandemic, we had to resort to online classes. But it honestly dint feel like one. She was dancing along with us, recorded us, patiently repeated the steps every single time, was very encouraging and modified steps based on our comfort quotient. It helped that she sent us the recording after and also touched base with us once in a while to check if we had practiced. We can’t wait to learn the steps for the other songs and are so glad we found Taniya who is making this effortless for me.
