Intimate Destination Wedding In Jaipur Planned By The Couple Themselves!

One look at this wedding, and you wouldn't believe it if we told you that it was planned just by the couple, without any wedding planners! Avantika and Vivek had their dream wedding- an intimate one of about 100 people in Jaipur, and it definitely had a touch of regality! The bride looked resplendent in her traditional red lehenga, but wowed at the other functions too! Take a look at this beautiful union!
Meet Avantika and Vivek
Our love story is a textbook example of how two friends, became best friends and eventually fell in love. Vivek was my senior in school. We both came to Delhi to pursue our higher studies, but ended up pursing each other instead. It all started with the Big Chill Dates, which is when I came to realise that, he might potentially be the only one I will ever be okay to share my food with. And then, one fine day, after a HUGE fight, he came knocking on my door, holding a packet full of Samosa and Green Chutney, and that is when I knew he’s the man I wanted to marry. That is exactly how our love is- Crazy, intense, comfortable and grounded. He is my calm before, during and after any storm. And I would not have it any other way.

From The Bride:
Our wedding took place on February 9, 2023. The day we decided to get married, is the same day we decided we would make it the best day of our lives. We always wanted an intimate destination wedding comprising of our closest of the closest people, a little over 100. We began searching for cities and Jaipur had our heart. We locked in the magnificent Samode palace for our big day, the minute we saw it! From planning the tiniest details such as wedding favours to deciding the venue, we did everything in between, ourselves! What a journey it was! From the Food Trials, To Outfit Trials, to choosing the mehendi artist of my dreams, to Chandani Chowk visits just for the right kind of Jodhpur potlis, to deciding the entry songs, the dance numbers, designing our own wedding itineraries, we knew this was our day and we wanted that to reflect in everything. Most importantly, we wanted our parents to sit back, relax, not stress about anything and just have a blast!
After a year of endless planning, many many conversations, arguments and agreements and absolutely overwhelming days, on 9th February we saw everything come to life, bit by bit, and our hearts well beyond full.
We celebrated our most special day, with our most special people, and we would not have it any other way! We had our dream team of photographers, Event Designers and Samode Palace’s par excellence hospitable team who treated our day as their own, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
